Sarah NezSarah Ann Parker Nez, 71, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in Fillmore, Utah. She was born May 23, 1950 in Gallup, New Mexico to Leo Parker, Jr & Irene Adakai Miller. She was married November 6, 1971 in Gallup, New Mexico to Jackson Nez. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Sarah was raised in Gallup, NM, but lived in different areas in New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming, and Utah, but settled in Fillmore and Kanosh, Utah where she raised her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she had served in many callings including as a youth Missionary. Sarah was a wonderful, loving Mother and wife. She was very friendly and kind hearted. She was always willing to help out others in need. Her hobbies included cooking, baking and sewing. She enjoyed listening to oldies and classical country music. She loved reading books and watching old western, action, and karate movies. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, drawing, coloring and gardening. She loved her pets (dogs & cats), yellow roses and the color green. Sarah is survived by her Husband Jackson; children: Shannon (Ashley) Nez of Bluffdale, Utah; Jarrett Nez of Kanosh, UT; Summer Nez of Bluffdale, UT; Jesse (Trienke) Nez of Edwardsville, KS; brothers: Lawrence Miller of Denver, CO and Louie Miller of Salt Lake City, UT; sisters: Grace Parker of Manulito, NM; Angie Miller of Albuquerque, NM; Jeannie Becenti of Del Norte, CO; Gloria Parker of Farmington, NM; Judy Dixon of Cedar City, UT; 11 grandchildren: Jet, Nevaeh, Camri, Calli Cydni, Cazli, Promise, Jackson, Bella, Wyatt, and Liam. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons: Parker Jay Nez and Jack D. Sisson; siblings: Maxine Long, Francis Miller, Donald Miller, Robert Parker, Eddie Parker and Laberta Parker. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the Fillmore 1st and 4th Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
