Billie Jones

February 10, 1929 — July 20, 2021

On Tuesday, July 20, 2021, Billie Jones passed away peacefully at the age of 92.

She was born on February 19, 1929, in Talpa, TX, to Jesse and Callie Bairrington. Billie was the youngest and last living sibling of the Bairrington family. She was married to Elbert Jones for 33 years and was the mother to two sons. She worked as a medical secretary in numerous offices during her lifetime.

Billie had a passion for acting as a hostess for her friends and family. One of her favorite activities was cooking fried chicken along with an enormous amount of side dishes and desserts for her family. She loved her home state of Texas. Billie was easily identifiable while she lived in Utah by her soft Texas accent and fancy clothes. She loved to dress nicely and make an impression.

Billie was preceded in death by her son Jerry Dean. Billie is survived by her son Richard (Terri) Jones (Delta, UT), and four grandchildren, Aubrie Jones, Laurel (Derek) Linder, Hannah (Theos) Wallis, and Richard Jones Jr. Billie spent her latter years under the care of her son and daughter-in-law, Terri.

The family would like to thank At Home Health Care and Hospice for their excellent care and compassion for Billie and her family during the last year.
