Bruce Christensen

Loran Bruce Christensen was born December 18, 1940 in Chester, Utah, to Voy Clark & Eva Brough Christensen.  He passed away peacefully in Fillmore, Utah on Saturday, December 2, 2017. 

He married his childhood sweetheart Elaine (Charley) Walke Christensen on March 29, 1957.   Together they had four girls:  Jan Christensen of Delta, UT; Ruth (Steve) Kemple of Ferron, UT; Kathy (Dennis) Session of West Valley City, UT; Maureen (Tom) Punkley of Sandy, UT. 

He will be remembered as a loving husband, DAD, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, and a true friend to all he met.  He worked hard his entire life at Leggett sand & gravel and retired from Whitemore Oxygen Company after 42 years.   Bruce and Charley spent years being Harley enthusiasts.  He was a super fan of the Indianapolis Colts.  Fillmore has been their home for the past 20 years. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents, granddaughter and great-granddaughter. 

Charley would like to say thanks to Fillmore Community Hospital for the kindness and care extended to Bruce and her.

A Celebration of his life will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Olpin Stevens Funeral Home in Fillmore, UT.  Friends and Family are invited to come pay their respects to the family starting at 10:30 AM.  Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
