Clair Wallace Overson

Clair passed away peacefully at home with his companion Monnie Beeman at his side. Clair was born in Leamington, Utah to Clyde and Ila Overson.  He had 5 brothers and sisters:  Fay, Joe, Murna, Loretta, Analee and Ila Mae.  He married Della Fern Thronton on Nov 18, 1950; together they had five children.

He loved horses, hunting and fishing and spent much of his time engaged in these activities with his family members. He was a mechanic and could fix almost anything.  He worked at Geneva Steel and Brush Wellman.

He was preceded in death by his wife Della Fern Thornton and his son Steven Overson. He is survived by four children: David (Debbie) Overson; Deanna (Tom) Munteen; Sharon (the late Terry) Abbott; Barry (Judy) Overson; he had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Fillmore Stake Center (25 S 300 W) at 12:00 noon.  He will be interred in the Leamington Cemetery at a later date.  Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
