Deana Roxann Bundy Ackerman, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, in Fillmore, Utah.

Deana was born on April 5, 1970, in Oregon to Faye Jackson Bundy and Dean O. Bundy. She moved to Flowell, Utah with her family when she was 5. She later attended Millard High School.

In 1987, Deana married Brian Michael Dortch in Reno, Nevada. Together they had two children, Michael Dean Dortch and Amanda Lynn Dortch. Later, in March 1993, Deana met James Cluff, and together they had a son, Alex James Cluff. Deana later moved to St. George, Utah, with her children, where she met and married Michael Bonadurer in 1996. Together they welcomed their son, Tristan Lance Bonadurer.

Later in life, Deana married the love of her life, Mark Ackerman, in August of 2014 in Virginia City, Nevada. He later passed away in 2017.

Deana's greatest joy was her family and friends. Her closest friends she loved and treated like family. She always went out of her way to make sure that people felt loved and cared for. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and creating memories with them. She especially enjoyed camping, fishing, and rock hunting with family and friends. As the years went by, she also developed a passion for travel, visiting places such as Mexico and Hawaii, among many other adventures.

Deana will be remembered for her loving heart and adventurous spirit. The memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20, at Wildlife Park in Fillmore at 12pm. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Deana's life. Deana will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, children, grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.
