Debra Humphries Bryant

June 29, 1957 — April 17, 2022

Debra Humphries Bryant passed away peacefully Easter morning, April 17, 2022, in Delta, UT after an extended illness.

Deb was born June 29, 1957 in Fillmore, UT to Max J Humphries and Kathryn Lou (Tobe) Pace Humphries. Married to Joseph A Bryant, June 23, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV.

Deb had a wonderful childhood growing up in Delta UT, going from family home to family home, which was characteristic of the time! Cousins, neighbors and friends were always welcome at her home and she in theirs.

She graduated from Delta High School in 1975. Following graduation she attended Evans Cosmetology in St George, UT and received her cosmetology certification. She then served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the West Virginia Charleston mission from 1981 to 1982.

Upon her return she worked at local businesses in various capacities. During the Intermountain Power Project start up, she met the love of her life, Joe Bryant, who would eventually become her husband. The acquaintance turned to interest and interest turned to love! They were married in Las Vegas June 23, 1989 followed by a reception in Delta.

They began their life together in Lebanon, PA! It was there that Michael, their son, was born. Joe was employed by General Electric and then they moved to Decatur, IL where he worked for Illinois Power. In 2001 they moved to Delta where Joe worked at the Intermountain Power Plant. Their home has been in Delta ever since. Traveling has been a shared love of she and Joe, especially enjoying a good cruise and good food!

Deb has always been kind and thoughtful to her friends and family. She always found the perfect gifts to give! Any shopping trip was always preceded by asking if she could get needed items for others. If she had it and you needed it, it was yours! Family was always top priority, especially Mike. Being a mother was her life time dream!

“Love Ya!”, were words always spoken at the end of any conversation with her family and friends. Deb, we “Love Ya”!

Deb is survived by her husband, Joe, Delta UT; Her son, Mike (Jessica), Eagle Mountain, UT; Sibling, Liz (Russ) Webb, Delta, UT; Numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents.
