Donald (Don) Frederick Lambert Jr. (77) passed away on March 17, 2026 in Temple Texas.

Don grew up in Pasco and graduated from Pasco Senior High School in 1966 and attended both Columbia Basin College and Central Washington University obtaining multiple degrees in Criminal Justice and Business Management. Don joined the Pasco Police Department in 1969 before voluntarily enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1973 as an MP and served honorably until his discharge in 1975. After discharge Don rejoined the Pasco Police Department briefly before moving to the Franklin County Sheriffs Department and then to CBC as Security / Chief of Security.

Don was married to Vicki Rutherford in 1998 who lived by his side until her passing in January of 2025. They enjoyed many adventures together from coast to coast visiting family and friends.

Don is survived by his sisters Beth McClymond (Alan), Sharon Artz (Mike), sons Brian Lambert (Maria), Heath Lambert (Jessica), Step Daughter Wendy Brunson (Rustin), Step Son Michael Rutherford (Diane) and many grand children and great grand children.
