Henry Edward Carter

September 2, 1960 — November 26, 2023

Fillmore

Henry Edward Carter, 63, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 in Fillmore, Utah.  He was born September 9, 1960 in Lehi, Utah to Junior and Bertha (Sally) Maureen Carter.  He was married to Antonia De Lima on January 30, 1982, in California.

According to Henry, the best years of his life were when he was living together with his wife, daughter, and stepson. Loving grandfather to his three grandchildren and in love with his two great-grandchildren. He enjoyed talking about the past, his adventures while in the Navy, and the lessons he learned about simple things in life. He was really good with handwork, he was generous to help others and great work ethics and proud of his work while Orem was being built.

He loved his friends, supported others in times of crisis, and was not hesitant to say what needed to be said even when others were not ready to listen. Outspoken and loud Henry had a great sense of humor and a talent for storytelling. He also had the talent to talk to strangers and turn them into great friends, spoil his dogs like no one else and if you didn't know Henry by his name you knew him as the guy with two wiener dogs.  He will be missed by family and friends. We will never forget you, we love you.

Henry is survived by his wife Antonia Tavares Carter of Brazil; a daughter Candice and Chayce Carter of Orem, Utah; brothers: Jim and Donald Carter; sister: Ruth Frenzel of Pleasant Grove, Utah; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; he is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Linda and Sarah Anne Carter; 4 nieces and one nephew.
