J Roy Roysdon, 87, was received into heaven on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Fillmore, Utah. He was born August 25, 1931 in Houston Texas to Ruby Maude Champion & J R. Roysdon. He met his future wife at 13 and he at 14. They married in Arizona in 1951. Roy was sent to Korea in July 1952, he was discharged with honors in 1954. Roy and Betty had three children: Brad, Ron, and Cindy. The family moved to Utah in 2005. Roy was a machinist for 30 years. Then he went with his son brad into the tractor business until age 73 and retired. He loved his family and always put them first. He was a patriot and loved his county.
His children wrote the following: Our Dad was a good man. A man from a different generation, loving, honest, and trustworthy. He worked hard most of his life and was able to retire and be comfortable here in Utah. A place he always loved so much. He taught us a lot of things and Dad and Brad worked together for many years in the tractor business. He liked to work on cars and motorcycles and tractors. He taught us how to hunt and fish and ride motorcycles.
Brad and Cindy would like to say thank you Dad, we love you and miss you. You will always be in our hearts. From your wife (Punkin) you are my soul mate forever and a day I love you Sonny
