Janette Noel Findlay

December 19, 1975 — March 17, 2024

Janette Noel Findlay, 48, of Ontario, California passed away in Upland, California on March 17, 2024 of heart and lung failure.

Janette was born on December 19, 1975 to Jack Reed Findlay and Helen Fern Robison of Hacienda Heights, California.  At the age of 12, Janette graduated from San Bernardino County Schools.  At the age of 19, Janette moved to Salem Christian Homes where she rode Omnitrans with other residents to weekday school programs. Janette loved to pick out her dress each morning and was very particular about organizing things in her room.

Janette loved throwing things when she was bored, loved to play the piano keys and loved to be outdoors on the swings.  Janette would always laugh each time the swings would carry her forwards and backwards as she outstretched her legs to zoom in and out.

For birthdays and holidays, Janette usually received toys with musical instrument sounds so she could constantly be entertained by different musical notes.  She loved maracas especially the ones with lights.  She had a wonderful sense of humor which included ignoring music that she didn’t like, pushing away watered down sodas and using hand signals to indicate those things she didn’t like.

Janette was completely innocent and carried a spirit of love with her until she passed away in peace at the age of 48 surrounded by her brothers and sisters.

Janette was preceded in death by her parents Jack Findlay, and Helen Robison.  She is survived by her siblings, Craig (Sally) Findlay, David Findlay, Russell (Lynell) Findlay, Brian (Jennifer) Findlay, Kent (Anna K) Findlay, Gaylynn Hansen, and Leticia (Gary) Mikesell.
