Janice Kay Zeigler, 81, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in Richfield, Utah. She was born August 31, 1943 in La Jolla, California to Edward Ellsworth and LaVon Lillian Dewey Shelstead. She married Kenneth Zeigler on June 9, 1962 in La Jolla, California, they were later sealed in the Manti Temple on September 30, 1978.
Janice was fun and had a slightly irreverent sense of humor. She found joy in her family and shopping. She had a variety of talents including cooking, tole painting, macramé, jewelry making, sewing and decorating. She was very kind, generous and accepting. She had a strong love and faith in her savior Jesus Christ. She was a faithful Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Janice is survived by her husband Kenneth Zeigler; Children: Anna Beth Jones (Curtis-deceased) of Central, Utah; Matthew Dean Zeigler (IvaLou Nebeker) of St. George, Utah; Pauline Faith Troseth (Todd C.) of Holden, Utah; one brother: Gary Shelstead; 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Wayne Arnold Shelstead.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Holden Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
