Keifer Jay Huntsman, born on November 10, 1990, in Fillmore, Utah, left this world on September 24, 2025, in Provo, Utah. A cherished son, brother, and uncle, Keifer was known for his warm personality and his love for connecting with others.
Keifer graduated from Millard High School in 2009, where he enjoyed an active life as a student-athlete. He showcased his talents in football, baseball, and wrestling, leaving a lasting impression on his teammates and coaches. His competitive spirit was matched only by his passion for life, which he embraced fully in every endeavor.
Outside of academics and sports, Keifer had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He delighted in the beauty of nature, often spending his free time fishing and hiking, creating lasting memories with loved ones. Some of his fondest moments were shared around a fire, where he enjoyed relaxed conversations with his father, Jay Huntsman. His ability to meet and talk to people forged numerous friendships, reflecting the genuine kindness that defined his character.
Keifer leaves behind his loving family: his father: Jay Huntsman; mother: Shaunna Maxfield; brother: Harley Huntsman; sister: Darcie Milkksen; and his nieces, Cassie Wilcox, Chessa Maxfield, Ben Maxfield, and Adalyn Huntsman. He is preceded in death by his uncles, Leon Ross and Cecil Ross, who will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew them.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Fillmore Stake Center. A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Olpin Stevens Funeral Home in Fillmore. Another viewing will be held October 2, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fillmore Stake Center. Interment will be in the Fillmore City Cemetery under the care of Olpin Stevens Funeral Home.
