Lafe Levi was born on April 29, 1960, in Kanosh, Utah, and passed away on October 27, 2026, in Kanosh, Utah. He will be remembered with love by all who knew him and by the community where he was born and spent his life.

Lafe was someone everyone knew. He loved sports and spent time coaching many children’s sports, sharing his encouragement and support with young athletes and their families. He also enjoyed watching the Raiders. Outside of sports, he loved hunting, golfing, and fishing, pastimes that brought him joy and created lasting memories for those around him.

He is survived by his son: Jimmy(Alejandra) Levi of Kanosh, Utah; daughter: Kim (Joseph) Lechwar of Kanosh, Utah, Lafe leaves behind his brothers, Wayne Levi and Andy Levi, and his sister, Jaunita Levi. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and the many people whose lives were touched by his presence.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnson and Ruth Levi; many of his siblings.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Olpin Stevens Funeral Home - Fillmore, 55 W 200 S, Fillmore, UT. A traditional all night sing will be held that evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Kanosh Band Building, 165 Reservation Rd, Kanosh, UT.

Lafe Levi will be remembered for his love of family, his enjoyment of sports and the outdoors, and the way he was known by so many. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
