Madge Cluff George

Madge Cluff George, age 89, passed away in the Fillmore hospital, Sunday, December 11, 2016.  She was born July 7, 1927 to Bert and Ruby Cluff in Fillmore, UT.

Madge was preceded in death by her husband Orin W. George, sons Gardner, Neil and Chris.  She was survived by her son Harold, and brothers Verne and Larry Cluff.   Madge has 7 grandkids, and 12 great grandchildren.

Madge's passion in life has always been her music and family.  She taught many youth and family to play different musical instruments.  She attended BYU musical school, learning and perfecting her piano skills.

Madge was a member of the LDS church and served in many capacities. She served a mission at Cove Fort, UT. She was stake dance director as well as many music capacities.

Anyone that remembers Madge can attest to her beautiful and infectious smile. She would suffer often rather than feel she was burdening anyone. Her heart was always tender, caring about other's feelings.

Madge has been suffering from major health issues for the last two years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Fillmore Stake Center chapel at 2:00 pm.  A viewing will be held prior to the services from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Stake Center.  Interment will be at the Kanosh Cemetery under the care of Olpin Stevens Funeral Home.  Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
