Mayur Thaker

Mayur Suryakant Thaker, age 60, passed away Friday June 14, 2024 at his home in Utah. He was born on February 12, 1964 in Gujarat, India to Suryakant and Kanta Thaker. He married Maheshwari Thaker on March 29, 1992 in Jamnagar, India. 

 Mayur was raised and went to school in Vadodara, India. He eventually moved to the United States where he lived in New England, Florida and then Utah. He had a background in electrical engineering but was passionate about business and had an entrepreneurial mindset. He loved traveling, documenting his adventures through photos and videos, gardening, and most importantly, spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed action movies, trying different foods, music and singing. He always lived in the moment, danced like no one was watching and enjoyed the little things. 

 He is survived by his wife Maheshwari Thaker; children Manthan and Mansi Thaker; parents Suryakant and Kanta Thaker; siblings Jayesh Thaker and Nipa Dave. 

 Celebration of Life services will be Thursday June 20, 2024 at 2pm at Walker Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Thank you for all of your love and support.
