Michael K. Littleford left us on the wings of an angel Aug 20, 2025. He was born June 16, 1958, to Bob and Maxine Littleford. He joined his brother Larry and sister Shari to complete the family.
Mike graduated from West High School. He was on the swim team and set records in the 200 and 500 freestyle.
He started working for Utah Power and Light on 4-20-81. He retired as a Journeyman Lineman after 44 years. His work friends have remained lifelong friends. In 1988, he moved to Delta for work.
He loved Delta, Curley's, and all the wonderful friends he made. They have loved and taken care of him always. We love them so much.
Mike's best life began when he married the love of his life, Dee, on January 4, 2008. His love, generosity, sarcasm, and wit are legendary. Two of his favorite sayings were "Stupid Hurts" and "paying attention is a key part of the game". If you knew him there’s a good chance you heard one or both of them.
He loved the outdoors, camping, bow hunting, woodworking, golf, bowling, NASCAR, and the Steelers. Salina Creek, Fish Lake and the Paunsangunt were his favorite camping spots. An elk hunt in Salina creek was the highlight of the year.
He was a kind, compassionate man. He loved looking out for and taking care of everyone. Mike fought cancer for 16 years. He did it with the strength, courage, and dignity of a true warrior. He had a special bond with his nephew Troy, Shaydon, and Barrett.
He is survived by his wife, Dee. He is also survived by his sons Jeremy (Britt), Jeremy (Jackie), and Tyson (Brittney). His brother Larry (Colleen) and sister Shari (ART). Grandchildren: Zeke, Zaden, Wyatt, Braxtyn, Hazely, Tristen, Delilah, Gage, and Bodie. He also has many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on September 13, 2025, from 2 to 6 PM at Curley's, located at 294 W. Main in Delta, Utah. Children are welcome. Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
