Neal Jeffery Riding, Grandpa Neal, Nealdo, Papa Nealdo was born on February 19th, 1964 in Delta, Utah to his parents Lionel Kennard Riding and Marjorie Jeffery Riding. He grew up in Delta where he developed a love for sports, friendships, and the outdoors.

While attending Delta High School, Neal enjoyed playing football and basketball. He graduated with the class of 1982.

He spent many hours at Riding Ford working on cars and became a talented mechanic. He enjoyed his years of rodeo and riding barebacks and loved going to watch the drag races.

Neal married Lisa Marie Lewis on December 29th, 1981. Together they had two sons, Trevor Neal and Cole William. He later married Patricia Smith Rich on November 7th, 1992. Making them a family of ten. Later, they welcomed two more brothers, Reygan Smith and Rett Mikel, making them a family of twelve.

Neal worked at IPSC for over 29 years. He was a 26 year member of the West Millard Sheriff's Posse Search and Rescue.

Neal was a great husband, supportive father, and loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Lake Powell trips with his family. You could always find him reading, playing croquet, or watching sports on tv. He loved the Dallas Cowboys.

Neal was known by Patty as “the dog father.” Thanks to Mr. Wilson, Lolly and many other dogs they had throughout the years. He was known by everyone for his huge heart and big teddy bear hugs. He will be missed by so many and even more by the ones closest to him.

Neal is preceded in death by his parents Kennard and Marjorie Riding, and siblings Cinda Riding and Steve (Spitty) Riding. He is survived by all of his children and their spouses and 24 grandchildren.
