It was mine and my husbands privilege to visit Ramona almost every month for the past nine or ten years. The first few years we also loved visiting Richard. It was always a treat to be in Ramonas home, to visit with her and enjoy the spirit that was there. Every one knows that the simple ways are best, and Ramona was a champion of that. One day I took her some bran muffins I had just baked. I probably told her they would taste best warmed in the microwave, with butter and jam. But she sat there and ate them with nothing on them and it was fun to see how much she enjoyed that simple little thing. I learned something that day. Simplifyyou dont need to make things fancy. Just enjoy it the way it is. I think that was her philosophy, and Im sure it brought her a lot of happiness.
