Scott LeRoy Crosby

November 8, 1955 — September 11, 2021

Scott LeRoy Crosby, 65, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 in St. George, Utah.

Scott was born on November 8, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles LeRoy and LuDean Penney Crosby. After graduating from Murray High School, he enlisted in the United States Army Airborne. He was chosen to serve as a sentinel at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Scott learned the value of hard work at an early age and had a good work ethic throughout his life. After he retired from Kennecott Copper as a truck haulage driver, he enjoyed spending time at his ranch in Kanosh, Utah with his beloved dogs.

Scott was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout, and he said the hardest merit badge he earned was bicycling. He loved scouting and lived the slogan of “do a good turn daily,” by helping those in need.
Even as a boy, Scott loved cars and as he got older, he collected antique and classic cars and trucks.

Scott is survived by his parents, his brothers: Mark, Blaine, and Bruce Crosby, and many nieces and nephews.
